Rover, a trained German shepherd, called 9-1-1 when his owner had a seizure. Emergency unit responded and was able to save the man’s life. I’ve heard of a 2 or 3 year old girl in NY doing the same thing, saving her mom. But a dog? How did he dial the digits?
Anyway, in the Philippines, kahit siguro trained askal kayang gawin yan. But can our ambulance respond on-time? Asa pa. :D Ni-wala nga tayong malapit na hospital sa Pandacan eh, except some centers.

Last week nag oath-taking ang mga parents officers ng Manila Day Care Center Dist. VI. We were inducted by Mayor Lim. He said that by 2010, magkakaroon na raw ng hospital sa District VI, naghahanap lang daw sila ng place. Sana nga dito sa Pandacan sila makapagpa-tayo ng hospital no!
