[UPDATE: January 10, 2011] January 13 is the last day of registration. The runners will basically run around Labores Street, Jesus Street, Laura Street, and Tomas Claudio with some additional streets. Check out the route map for 5K run and 10K inside this post.

Route – 5K Race

Below is the map for the 5-km race. The 1st round, runners will race around Labores Street, Jesus Street, Laura Street, Jesus Palumpong, and Tomas Claudio. More streets inside Balagtas neighborhood in the next round.

Route – 10K Race

The 10Km race is a single round similar to 1st round of the 5K race, except runners will have to run Tomas Claudio twice.

[Previous UPDATE: January 3, 2011] The Organizers have opened four registration centers. These are: [1.]the Runners Link Headquarters at Febo Street. Two more on Librada Avelino Street – [2.] 1430 Librada Avelino (Look for Manny Tomas) and [3.] the Burger Stand Near Bonacruz Store (Look for Manny Delena) and [4.] one stationed at Liwasang Balagtas. Press Release: PANDACAN CHALLENGE UPDATE

PANDACAN MANILA; Samahang Sining at Kalinangan ng Pandacan, Runners Link, The City of Manila, together with Shell, Pandacan1011.com (mypandacan.com), Radyo Veritas and 100.7 the mix, have started receiving participants for the upcoming PANDACAN CHALLENGE.

According to Manny, Runner’s Link coordinator, participants have started to pour in since the opening of the registration period in December 10, and they expect runners to pour in as we count out the dates towards 2011.

Interested participants or groups have three (3) ways in acquiring the registration forms:

• First is through the agents and coordinators of Runners Link who are usually present in most of the different fun runs city-wide;
  
• Second is through this website, mypandacan.com;
  
• Third is through pandacan-pandakan facebook account.

Forms will be accepted until January 9 at these places: Liwasang Balagtas (M/W/F at 4 to 7pm) or anytime at 2310 Febo St. Pandacan Manila.
