Liwasang Balagtas
Description: Landmark, Plaza
Where: Along Jesus Street/Laura Street corner Beata Street
This plaza was built in honor of the famous playwright/writer/poet Francisco Balagtas (aka Francisco Baltazar) who lived in Pandacan during the Spanish era.
The place is useful for hanging out especially on a nice day. I and my classmates in Elementary and High School used to practice here when we had a play for school.
