Akap-Bata Daycare (of Caritas Manila)
Do you know about this little daycare center in Pandacan? According to what I’ve read, it is located in Baranggay 835, but the zone is unknown. Akap-Bata Daycare is situated along a railroad, and their school supplies is very low. It is run by a trained social worker named “Manang Aida”, with a help of another teacher (Karen).
Last month, the daycare received books and supplies donated by “PERTH-Manila Project“, who described Manang Aida as an angel sent from above. From the pictures I saw from the PERTH-Manila Project article, it looks like Akap-Bata Daycare is under Caritas Manila. (Please correct us if we’re wrong)

Alam mo hanga ako sa mga nasa daycare, para sakin mga hero sila na di natin masyadong binibigyan ng pansin.. but they actually contributed a lot to our education dba? sana maging open pa yung mga tao sa ganitong klase ng charity :)

It is true that the featured daycare center here is under the AKAP BATA, PHILIPPINES, Inc. I just want to note that AKAP BATA is not under the Caritas-Manila but rather holds office in the compound of Caritas -Manila in Pandacan.
AKAP BATA Philippines, Inc. and Caritas-Manila are partners in the feeding program of which AKAP BATA Beata Daycare Center under the care of Manang Aida is one of the beneficiaries.
The daycare situation that you see in here is the same situation of all the 78 daycare centers that AKAP BATA PHILIPPINES is servicing nationwide.

hi christine, don’t lose hope. i know quezon institute or lung center of the philippines provide free services for the poor, maybe limited services, but at least they can help you ease some of your family’s financial needs or they should be able to provide you with alternatives. they may also have the list of charitable organizations that can help you as well. i am sorry i have no personal information, but maybe even the doctor that sees your aunt have an idea.
